#EndSARS Protest Becomes Carnival In Osun, Lagos

The #EndSARS protest which started on an angry tone seems to be cooling slowly into carnivals of a sort in Lagos and Osun States.

Somewhere in Osun state at Ola-Iya junction, Osogbo, protesters at about around 10:35 am blocked the roads leading to the junction, set up a canopy, under which was a sound system.

The protesters even organised a dance competition among themselves while some others played football. They also made bonfires on the streets which made it impossible for motorists to get to the major junction.

In Alausa, Ikeja Lagos, the protesters came prepared as they set up three canopies at the entrance of the Assembly complex, which also leads to the governor’s office.

One of the canopies housed numerous cartons/packets of bottled water and soft drinks that was served by about 10 ladies. While the second canopy housed the serving of food, the third canopy provided shelter for those who needed it.
