Jason Njoku, the man behind the Iroko TV has revealed why he won’t allow his children to become entrepreneurs.
In a tweet which he shared, the British-Nigerian start-up investor said that he wants his kids to remain happy and he won’t encourage them to be entrepreneurs because the task of becoming one is “super hard”.
He added that although entrepreneurship may make them rich, it has the potency of bringing them unhappiness. He wrote;
“I want my kids to be happy. So definitely not encouraging this entrepreneurship path. Its super hard. It may make you rich (very unlikely) but it will more likely than not cause unhappiness. The deep kind. The kind that just grinds everything to dust. I think I need a 15km run”
