Hon. Monsuru Bello Obe, the chairman of Ejigbo LCDA has made an appeal to the youths protesting against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the police today (Wednesday), assuring that federal and state governments are working together to address their demands.
The protesting youths led by Otoloorin Kehinde Peters also known as Kenny Black in Ejigbo were addressed by the chairman who advised them to carry out a peaceful activity.
Speaking on behalf of the protesters, Kenny Black said that the atrocities committed by the SARS personnel were getting out of hand because they infringed on the fundamental human rights of citizens.
The council chairman still made a further appeal to the protesters to go about their lawful businesses following the announcements made by authorities from the federal government regarding the disbandment of SARS division of the Nigeria Police.
