One of the Kardashian sisters, Kim has announced her decision towards freeing the 49 year old rapper, Corey Miller, from his life sentence as evidence which proves him to be a victim of injustice surfaced.
Popularly known as C-Murder, the rapper was convicted of murdering a teenager identified as Steve Thomas in 2002. Miller, who is also a brother of rapper Master P, has always maintained his innocence.
The 39 year old Kim Kardashian over the weekend took to social media to inform her followers of the case, providing some insight into potential “new evidence”. She wrote;
“On January 18, 2002 a tragedy occurred when a young man was killed. The next day Corey Miller was arrested for the murder,” she explained, with the accompanying hashtag Free Corey Miller.
“The jury convicted Corey 10-2 and he was sentenced him to life in prison. If his trial was today, the jury would have had to be unanimous for him to be convicted.”
“True justice for the young man requires that the person who actually killed him be held responsible and that Corey Miller he returned home to his kids.”
Kim also paid tribute to Steve Thomas, who died age just 16.
“My heart goes out to the family of Steve Thomas,”.
“I can only imagine how hard this is and my intention is never to open up this painful wound but to help find the truth behind this tragedy.”
