BREAKING: Buhari appoints new Chief Personal Security Officer

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, as his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).

The appointment of duty was mentioned by Mallam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President in Media and Publicity.

DCP Musa is an indigene of Niger State, who last served at the Zone 5 of the Nigeria Police Force, Benin City, before his new appointment. In his words Mallam Garba Shehu said;

“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, as his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).

“DCP Musa, from Nigerian Police Force Zone 5, Benin City, as his last station, hails from Niger State.

“Musa’s appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Commissioner of Police (CP) Abdulkarim Dauda”, the statement said.
