A Nigerian Muslim woman activist has received heavy curses and life threats for opposing the death sentence meted out on a Kano singer for blasphemy.
The activist, identified as Fakhriyya Hashim, mentioned how sad it is to see
“Muslims jubilate over a death sentence of a person that has not even committed a criminal offence.”
“it takes a level of depravity to feel elated that a man will be killed.

This tweet of hers had angered some Twitter Muslims and rained curses on her and also threatened her life.
She however returned to Twitter to reveal that people have been passing by her family home in Kano, looking for her.
It can be recalled that Yahaya Aminu Sharif was given a death sentence on the 10th of August 2020 for speaking blasphemy.
