Real Cause Of The Abule-Ado Explosion In March Revealed

An expository investigation conducted by the BBC Eye reveals that the actual cause of the Abule Ado explosion that rocked the part of Lagos in March, 2020 was due to a vaporized gas.

It can be recalled that in March, a record of no less than Twenty-three people were killed in the explosion, and a girls’ boarding school was totally destroyed. As at that time, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC had said that the blast was as a result of a truck that hit gas cylinders near one of its petroleum pipelines.

However, it has been revealed that  the explosion was caused by vaporized gas exuded by a leaking pipeline adjacent to the Bethlehem Girls Secondary School.
