Solskjaer Slams Man Utd’s Strikers Despite 3-0 Win At Aston Villa

Ole Solskjaer

While giving a speech after the match , Ole said he needs all his strikers to learn how to be more “clinical”.

Bruno Fernandes scored the first goal after Manchester united was awarded a penalty, before Mason Greenwood scored the second goal as he smashed his 16th goal of the season into the back of the net.

Paul Pogba score his first goal of the season after the first half break, as the red devils became the first team to score three or more in four consecutive Premier League matches.

The win against Aston Villa means United are only 1 point behind fourth placed Leicester City and 2 points behind Chelsea currently standing on the third position.

With such fine margins between the teams, goal difference could become a factor for a Champions League spot and Solskjaer says he was unhappy with his side for failing to score more goals against Aston Villa.

“I don’t know about how other teams feel when they play us but we scored three today.

“If we’re talking about goal difference then the defenders have done their jobs [with the clean sheet] but we created chances and we could have scored three, four or five more.

“Of course you’re happy with the way in which we create chances but you have to be more clinical,” he said.
